HOW TO MAKE IT

- Suggested Size -

For the look shown in the examples, the suggested sizes are:

Cover: 5" × 7"
Accordion interior: 13.526" × 3.521"

These measurements are only a starting point. The design can be resized to create a smaller, more petite program or a larger piece with additional room for ceremony details.

 

- How to Make It -

Personalize your ceremony information, print the cover and accordion pieces, then cut the specialty-shaped covers using your preferred cutting method or print-and-cut machine.

Score the accordion strip at the appropriate panel divisions before folding it back and forth into an accordion. Attach the first and last panels to the inside of the front and back covers to create the finished booklet-style piece.

For text designed in Canva, create your wording and typography in Canva, remove the background, download the text as a transparent PNG, and incorporate it into your print-and-cut artwork before printing.

 

- Cardstock Suggestions -

For the covers, approximately 80–110 lb cover cardstock gives the program enough structure while still keeping it comfortable for guests to hold.

For the accordion interior, consider a slightly lighter cardstock or heavyweight text stock so the panels fold easily without becoming too bulky.

Smooth matte, eggshell, cotton or lightly textured white cardstock works beautifully with the blush floral artwork. If you want to introduce one of your wedding colors, use the included white-background version with a light colored cardstock.

Always test one finished program before producing your full quantity, especially when using heavier papers, to make sure the accordion folds comfortably between the covers.

Want to add your initials, wedding date, monogram, or a small message? Create your text or graphic in Canva, remove the background, download it as a transparent PNG, and upload it into your cutting-machine software. Position it over the artwork before creating your final Print & Cut file.

 

- Styling Ideas -

Keep the finished program clean and minimal, or turn it into a small wedding keepsake with thoughtful finishing touches. Try:

• A narrow silk or chiffon ribbon tied around the closed program
• A small eyelet and ribbon accent at the top
• Your monogram or wedding date on the front cover
• A short “Welcome” or “Happily Ever After” message on the cover
• Coordinating blush, ivory or soft sage cardstock
• A contrasting colored back cover for an unexpected pop of color
• A vellum overlay on the front cover for added dimension
• A wax seal or small floral embellishment for a more detailed finish
