Not Sure Which Cardstock to Choose?

SIGNATURE WHITE CARDSTOCK

Choose white cardstock if your design has a full background color, flood color, photo, watercolor artwork, or detailed full-color design. White cardstock gives printed colors the cleanest and most accurate base.

Best for:
Designs with photos, watercolor designs, and full-color artwork.

Good to know:
If your design includes a background color, choose white cardstock instead of colored cardstock. The background color will be printed directly onto the white paper.

SIGNATURE CREAM CARDSTOCK

Choose cream cardstock for a softer, warmer look. It works best with classic, romantic, vintage, or neutral wedding designs.

Best for:
Traditional wedding suites, soft neutral palettes, vintage-inspired designs, and warm-toned artwork.

Good to know:
Because cream cardstock has a warm base, printed colors may appear slightly warmer than they would on white cardstock.

COLORED CARDSTOCK

Choose colored cardstock when your design does not have a full background color. This is best for designs where the cardstock color itself becomes part of the final look.

Best for:
Minimalist designs, text-only designs, white ink printing, metallic ink printing, foil details, simple borders, and designs with transparent or no background.

Good to know:
Colored cardstock is not ideal for designs with a flood color or full background. If your artwork includes a full printed background, choose white cardstock instead.

MATTE CARDSTOCK

Choose matte cardstock for a clean, smooth, modern finish with no shine.

Best for:
Minimalist designs, bold typography, modern wedding stationery, full-color artwork, and designs where readability is important.

Good to know:
Matte cardstock gives a more understated, classic look and is usually the most versatile option for printed wedding pieces.

SHIMMER CARDSTOCK

Choose shimmer cardstock if you want a soft pearlescent finish that adds a subtle glow to your wedding pieces.

Best for:
Elegant invitations, menus, place cards, table numbers, romantic designs, and formal wedding stationery.

Good to know:
Shimmer cardstock has a slight reflective finish, so printed colors may appear a little softer or more luminous than they would on matte cardstock.

PRINTING INFO

Not Sure Which Printing Finish to Choose?

FLAT PRINT / CMYK PRINT

Choose flat printing for a clean, full-color printed finish. This is the best option for designs with color, photos, illustrations, watercolor artwork, or detailed graphics.

Best for:
Menus, invitations, programs, signs, table numbers, favor tags, and everyday wedding stationery.

Good to know:
Flat printing does not create shine, texture, foil, or raised details. It is a smooth printed finish.

WHITE INK PRINT

Choose white ink printing when your design includes white elements or when printing on dark or cardstock. This method allows white text and artwork to appear crisp and visible where standard printing cannot.

Best for:
Dark cardstock, vellum overlays, minimalist designs, modern invitations, and artwork that uses white as a design element.

Good to know:
White ink sits on top of the paper rather than soaking in, which helps it stay bright and opaque. It does not create shine or texture.

METALLIC INK PRINT

Choose gold or silver metallic ink if you want a soft gold shimmer printed onto the cardstock. This gives your design a subtle metallic look without the higher setup of traditional foil stamping.

Best for:
Gold text, fine details, menus, programs, borders, and decorative wedding artwork.

Good to know:
Metallic ink is not mirror-shiny like real foil. It has a softer, more understated shimmer.

Important note:
Metallic ink is not the same as hot foil stamping. It has a soft shimmer, not a mirror-like foil shine. Choose this option if you want an elegant metallic effect that feels subtle rather than highly reflective.
