HOW TO MAKE IT

- Sizing -

For a standard wedding invitation, a great starting size is:

• 5" × 7"

You can resize the design to match the exact dimensions of your invitation, menu, program, or other stationery piece.

For a layered look, you can also make the overlay slightly smaller than the card underneath to reveal a subtle border.

- How to Make It -

For a Cricut project, upload the PNG into Cricut Design Space, resize it to match your stationery, and set it up as a Print Then Cut design. Print onto compatible vellum or paper, then let your machine trim the finished piece.

For a simpler setup, use the supplied PDF, print the design at your desired size, and trim it manually with a paper trimmer or craft knife.

If you would like text on the overlay, add your own names, wedding date, monogram, or short wording before printing.

Want to add your initials, wedding date, monogram, or text? Create your text or graphic in Canva, remove the background, download it as a transparent PNG, and upload it into your cutting-machine software. Position it over the artwork before creating your final Print & Cut file.

- Cardstock Suggestions -

For the classic overlay effect, use printable translucent vellum. A medium-weight vellum works particularly well because it feels substantial while still allowing the invitation beneath to remain visible.

You can also print the design on:

• Lightweight matte paper
• Cotton-style cardstock
• Translucent specialty paper

Always check that the vellum or specialty paper you choose is compatible with your printer type.
