HOW TO MAKE IT

- Sizing -

The default template is proportioned to wrap around a 5" × 7" landscape invitation suite.

Because invitation suites can vary in thickness depending on how many inserts you include, you may need to make small adjustments to the band length before cutting.

The SVG can also be resized for other invitation formats.

- How to Make It -

Upload the SVG into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, or another SVG-compatible cutting program.

Resize if necessary, then cut the belly band from your chosen cardstock. Place your invitation and inserts together, center the decorative panel over the front of the suite, and wrap the extended bands around the invitation.

Overlap the ends at the back and secure them using double-sided tape, glue dots, or another paper-safe adhesive.

If you would like wording on the center panel, add your names, initials, monogram, wedding date, or a short phrase before cutting or printing, depending on the finish you want to create.

Want to add your initials, wedding date, monogram, or text? Create your text or graphic in Canva, remove the background, download it as a transparent PNG, and upload it into your cutting-machine software. Position it over the artwork before creating your final Print & Cut file.

 

- Cardstock Suggestions -

A medium-weight cardstock works especially well because it is sturdy enough to hold the invitation suite together while remaining flexible enough to wrap cleanly around the cards.
